Inspirations: My roots in Puglia

Today my roots took me back to Puglia, land of vitamin sun, strong wind and sparkling sea.

Thousand of fortified Masserie are standing there for Centuries, staring at the sparkling blue sea in front of them.

Nowdays most of them are saved and brought to new life, becoming b&b and beautiful gem resorts set into the Mediterranean landscape.

The antique vaults are restored and repainted, low stone walls are build up surrounding the Masseria and the olive tree fields. Beautiful handmade vases and “pumi”, green glass jars, hand-painted ceramic pots and vases decorate the interiors of these beautiful gems.

The result is a unique style, a mix of rustic and elegance at the same time.
